The ashram since then has registered a regular growth and attracted devotees from all parts of the country in large numbers. In the presence of the radiant Malayalaswami in his saffron clothes, Ananda Mohan prostrated and offered fruits and flowers. The irony was that this decision was made in absence of Ananda Mohan, and later Ramaswamy wrote a detailed letter describing the events that took place in quick succession.
