I began reading this book several years ago and now read at least twice a year as it is always a stark reminder the power our words have on us and those around us.

Man was created in the image of God and in His likeness. This is a very inspiring book. It literally opened my eyes.

Jul 10, Kelly Purdy rated it really liked it. Not my idea of a good time at all. This book is not going to be easy to read for the flesh, but my goodness, this book is life flrce, literally. Later he passionately chides people who speak idle words and states that their condition is a direct result of what they release audibly into the atmosphere.

The Bible talks about it quite a bit, and the author draws on that to show that if we really believed scripture, we z be taking advantage of this underutilised tool to make our lives better. Words are powerful and we must always be mindful of what we say I stopped cursing and started thinking about what I was going to say because I don’t want to cause harm to anyone’s psyche. Too often as believers we forget just how powerful our words are and how true the Word of the Lord is.
