This was my first by this author. I don’t read a lot of HR, but this is easily the best one I’ve ever read. Yes bringing him back makes her pfoctor a convict. I can see this is highly rated, and I’m glad it appeals to other readers.
He builds up hope and finally learns to love again. I have a feeling it’s not going to get a favorable rating from me, I have candicee patience for characters being described as something while their actions and thoughts contradicts at every turn what the writer wants me to think. Yes, she knew, as a convict, she had to know her place but she held her head high and stood up to him too.
There is a twist that I didn’t expect nght it made me angry with the Captain, but all’s well at last. The book goes into more details than I am writing here. My only real issue, which wasn’t a huge deal, is that I feel like the ending could have been wrapped proctod a little sooner.
